Name node - master and keeps track of data blocks and related to the data nodes.  it does write to file systems as image and it takes care of transaction logs.


Secondory Name node --  Secondary name node came after 1.0 x Hadoop versions.

DORA Metrics

 DORA metrics, often referred to as the DORA (DevOps Research and Assessment) metrics, are a set of key performance indicators (KPIs) used to measure and assess the effectiveness of an organization's DevOps practices.
